Courageous Co-worker Born in 1948, Rev. Jeffreys Kayanga, one of my most trusted friends and co-workers in Sudan, passed away after a short illness on 28 June 2020. Jeffreys Kayanga and I walked many hundreds of kilometres together in the war zones of Sudan. Together, Jeffreys and I conducted hundreds of services, outreaches and lectures in remote villages and towns throughout Western Equatoria, amongst the Moru, Zande, Bari, Dinka and Nuer people. We conducted leadership training programs for pastors, chaplains, teachers, evangelists, youth workers and medics. He was my translator on many hundreds of occasions. Jeffreys was a capable organiser and gifted negotiator resolving many complications and avoiding conflicts amongst different tribes and officials. When we brought Samaritan's Purse in to renovate the hospital in Lui, he became the coordinator between SP, the local church and government officials.

General Ben Partin was one of the most influential innovators in developing focused energy and precision guided weapons. He was a close friend of missionary to the communist world, Rev. Bill Bathman, a member of the Board of Frontline Fellowship and a very good friend of our family and Mission. United States Air Force Scientist General Partin was born in Lumberton, North Carolina. He entered active military service in the Aviation Cadet programme, January 1944. After World War 2, he returned to North Carolina State College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering, graduating June 1949. As a Reserve Officers Training Corp Distinguished Military Graduate, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. August 1949, he was assigned to Strategic Air Command as Assistant Operations Officer, 91st Reconnaissance Technical Squadron at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. In March, 1950, he entered Pilot Training at Randolf Air Base, Texas and completed Advanced Flying Training at Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma, by March 1951.
“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39
Mourning in Moruland Our very good friend, Rev. Canon Kenneth Kilaki Baringwa, of the Episcopal Church of Sudan, has gone to be with the Lord. He died in Juba at Freedom International Hospital and his body will be transported back to his home town of Mundri for burial at Christ Cathedral. He was born 1 January 1946 and passed into eternity on Tuesday, 28 January 2020. 1 February 1929 to 18 January 2020 South Africa will probably never fully appreciate how much she owes to Professor Peter Beyerhaus, for he accompanied her through dangerous times. Our country has experienced a revolution, which has changed her from a Christian to a secular country and this turn-about was effected mainly by the World Council of Churches. On Saturday, 14 September 2019, Lenora’s Mother, Harriett Bathman, passed away peacefully in her sleep, at 88 years old. Bill and Harriett Bathman were married for 65 years. They served the Lord in Missions for over 6 decades in Great Britain, Eastern Europe and across the African continent. They lived in Europe for 22 of those years. For seven years, they also resided in South Africa and used Cape Town as their base of operations for continued ministry throughout Europe and Africa. Harriett Bathman trained at the Georgia Baptist Hospital and became a Registered Nurse. She loved being an OR Nurse and thrived during medical crisis. Harriett Bathman’s most fulfilling work in her medical capacity was arranging medical equipment, as well as, teams of doctors and medical personnel to travel to Eastern Europe to perform surgeries and organising the donation and transportation of tonnes of medical equipment to hospitals in Eastern Europe and to Angola and Sudan. On Friday, 28 June, many friends and family, from around the world, gathered in St. Peter’s Church of England in Mowbray to salute this dedicated Disciple. A man of principle, conviction and courage, Neil Michael Hurworth was born 3 August 1933 and ended his productive earthly life at age 85, entering eternity 22 June 2019. Mountain Climber Uncle Neil began climbing Table Mountain during the time of General Jan Smuts whom he encountered on the slopes, in the 1940s. He and Wendy continued climbing the mountain until just a few weeks before his untimely death. Yachtsman Neil Hurworth was also an avid Yachtsman, who took his family on many sailing adventures. On one memorable occasion he took his son, Stephen, on an expedition to St. Helena Island, but forgot to pack the nautical maps. He remembered the Theological books, but the lack of nautical maps meant that they missed the island and got caught in a Force 10 storm. As his son, Stephen, noted, they were most fortunate to arrive back in Cape Town alive and in one piece! Stephen commented that sailing to St. Helena Island amidst the very high winds and rolling white waves, with long overhanging crests and limited visibility, is still “the most exciting episode” in his life. To listen to a radio interview about Stephen Mitford Goodson, Click here We have gathered in honour and memory of Stephen Mitford Goodson “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:37-39 Eulogy Stephen Mitford Goodson was a remarkable economist, Reformer, researcher and author. Stephen provided a tremendous service for future freedom and prosperity by lifting the veil of secrecy of so many facts and facets of the history of central banking and the enslavement of mankind. His explosive: “Inside the South African Reserve Bank – Its Origins and Secrets Exposed” place him in the forefront of courageous resistance to the banksters and their globalist agenda. He believed that “Truth Conquers.”

Extraordinary Testimony
At this point several testified of what Michiah had said at the Bellville South Church that very Sunday morning: Michiah had testified that when he was 12 years old, his elder brother, 17-year-old Timothy, had drowned. This brought Michiah to surrender his life to Christ and he read Romans 8:28-30. “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.”
