International Summit
By God’s grace our Biblical Worldview Summit was greatly blessed. Participants came from as far afield as Uganda, Namibia, Zimbabwe, United States of America and from all over South Africa. The venue was beautifully situated on the slopes of a mountain overlooking the ocean. A Close up View of Wildlife Our participants got a close up look at nature, as, within minutes of arriving, a large baboon came charging into the dining area, went straight to the fridge, opened it and pulled out a jug of milk which he proceeded to drink. He then went and helped himself to the sugar bowl on the coffee table! On a number of other occasions the baboon came back to help himself to people’s lunch. Nobody was hurt, but it did create quite a lot of excitement every time Jimmy came to visit! Far more delightful were the penguins and bontebok , which some of our participants saw.

Independence for South Sudan
98.83% of South Sudanese voters chose secession from the Arab North. The historic Referendum concludes the longest war, in the largest country in Africa. The Southern third of the country will celebrate its independence on 9 July this year. By God’s grace we have stood with the beleaguered believers through some of the worst days of vicious persecution and we have helped them – not only to survive the relentless Jihad - but to thrive. By God’s grace the culminative effect of many years of intensive prayer, worldwide publicity, international pressure and missionary partnership with courageous persecuted Christians in South Sudan has been blessed with victory. Dear Friends, Intercessors and Supporters
“That Your way may be known on earth, Your Salvation among all nations.” Psalm 67:2 We thank God for His provision, guidance and protection throughout 2010. We have completed many mission trips and outreaches and we have had the joy of seeing people brought to conviction of sin, to Repentance and Faith in Christ. By God’s grace we have seen lives transformed by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. On the road, in schools, in aircraft, in conference centres, on university campuses, on the streets, in hospitals, outside dens of iniquity, in prisons and in remote areas, we have experienced the joy of bringing the life changing Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to young and old, rich and poor, from a wide variety of social and cultural backgrounds. Livingstone House has frequently been a hive of activity with many tens of thousands of Gospel leaflets being printed for outreaches, over 57 tonnes of Bibles and books being unloaded from containers, processed and sent out to equip Christian ministries, schools, mission stations, colleges and university ministries throughout Southern and Central Africa. For your edification, and for intercession, here is a small selection of remarkable, written responses that we have received by mail, or e-mail, from friends and supporters, and from the field, in this last year. Please continue to lift up these people and countries in prayer. Please continue to intercede that our publications, field trips and courses may continue to renew minds, transform lives, change hearts and disciple nations.
From the Field “The purpose of this letter is to show my heart of gratitude for all you have done for me and for the Bible College ministry God had entrusted to my hands here in Nigeria. God has used you to play a prominent role here at World Harvest College in Nigeria. The training materials you sent to us cannot be over-emphasized.” Rev. Samson Olasupo, Nigeria Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi
By God’s grace, Frontline mission teams are completing a complex series of mission outreaches to Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi. This has involved pioneering ministry into neglected and remote regions. Going literally off the map, the team crossed rivers by ferries and pontoons and visited and mapped 55 villages, many of whom said that this was the first time they had ever seen any white people. The team conducted thorough Creation evangelism in 26 of these villages, laying solid foundations teaching on Creation, the Fall, the Law and the need for a Saviour. As villagers came to Repentance and Faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, there was much rejoicing. Unforeseen Ministry Opportunities
Upon starting our Mission Trip it was apparent that everything was in God’s hands. At the border we were stopped by customs and told that all our material (65 boxes of literature and DVDs) that we had planned to give away was to be left at the border until we produced a letter from the appropriate church authorities stating that we were indeed going to give it all away. The border guards thought we were going to sell it! We returned the next day with the letter and got our material back, only to find out that the border agents were Christians and held a Bible study every day at lunch time. We were able to encourage them and give them literature and exchange contact details for further encouragement at a later stage; they are now called Border Fellowship. En route to Loziland we came across an old woman who was being pushed in a wheel barrow to the local clinic. We were able to put her in the vehicle and drive her there. We praise God for His extraordinary grace which we experienced in so many ways as we visited dynamic ministries throughout South Africa. Our team drove over 5,000 km and conducted over 110 meetings, lectures, sermons, presentations and radio programmes during the three and a half weeks of ministry. It was refreshing and encouraging to see vibrant Christian ministry amidst some of the most desperately urgent needs and many bold initiatives being undertaken for the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

Faith in Action We need to give all praise and honour to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Everything that has been accomplished in and through our mission over the last twenty eight years has been entirely due to God's grace alone. From the beginning we determined that this would be a Faith Mission. We have never had a fundraiser, nor have we ever taken up an offering, or engaged in high pressure emotional appeals, etc. And by God's grace, we are determined never to do so. Africa is a continent in conflict. Animism, communism and Islam are in conflict with Christianity. The battle is for the soul of the continent.
Jesus said: “Lift up your eyes and look at the fields …” John 4:35 A Continent in Conflict Since the end of the Cold War many conflicts have ended, particularly in Southern Africa. However, animism, tribalism and ethnic cleansing have caused tremendous bloodshed and great tides of refugees in Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Islamic Jihad in Sudan and Northern Nigeria have destroyed many hundreds of churches and massacred tens of thousands of Christians. Islamic regimes are persecuting Christians in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Mauritania , Somalia, Eritrea and Sudan. |
